The Rock Creek School District, established in the early 1990's, serves majority of the southern portion of Pottawatomie County residents. This award-winning school district has two elementary schools and one junior-senior high school, all of which provide exceptional educational and developmental experiences. Westmoreland Elementary SchoolWestmoreland Elementary School is located in Westmoreland, Kansas. This school serves students in the northern portion of the school district and instructs grades Pre-K through grade 6. The playground that sits just east of Westmoreland Elementary is open to the public seven days a week.

St. George Elementary SchoolSt. George Elementary School provides Pre-K through 6th grade instruction to the southern half of the Rock Creek school district. A new school was constructed on the northwest corner of St. George and also offers a playground and walking trails for public use.

Rock Creek High SchoolRock Creek Junior-Senior High School provides educational experiences for the entire district, grades 7-12. The mission of Rock Creek Jr./Sr. High School is to provide an orderly, supportive, quality learning environment that challenges all students to achieve, believe, dream, produce and relate to others with responsibility and integrity in a manner that credits themselves and society.
