The City of Westmoreland, Kansas is the county seat for Pottawatomie County.  Established in 1853, Westmoreland was once a stop for travelers on the Oregon Trail.  Visit and explore like our pioneering ancestors.

Every year the week prior to Thanksgiving through Christmas eve the  Westmoreland Chamber facilitates SHOP SMALL, encouraging both local and area shoppers to visit our quaint town and shop our many stores.

Fabulous Finds on Highway 99 is an annual event with treasure hunters looking for vintage finds up-and-down Highway 99. Our antiques stores and other businesses participate, plus many years, our city-wide garage sales are scheduled.
